About the project
In 2024, I created my first large-scale architectural model: a fully handcrafted piece uniting the Majorelle Garden, Villa Oasis, the Pierre Bergé Museum of Berber Arts, and the Yves Saint Laurent Museum in Marrakech. Designed for the exhibition “Jardin Majorelle: Who Are We?” (July 29, 2024 – February 2, 2025) at the Yves Saint Laurent Museum, the model offered a miniature yet comprehensive view of these iconic sites, showcasing both their architectural beauty and botanical richness.
Entirely handmade, with plants sculpted from copper wire in realistic forms and proportions, the work demanded precision and detail under tight deadlines. Presented alongside archival sketches, photographs, and films, it provided visitors with a unified perspective of the Jardin Majorelle’s cultural and historical landscape.
After the exhibition, the model was relocated to the gardens of Villa Oasis, where it remains on display today.
